About Us

ATL Seafood was founded in 2020 by Cedricka Stone during one of the most transformative periods of my life. After giving birth to my first child, I experienced deep postpartum depression. Cooking became my escape—it was a source of joy and a way to cope. Like many during quarantine, I discovered hidden talents and new passions. I’ve always been an entrepreneur at heart, exploring different business ideas, but ATL Seafood was the one that truly stuck.

During those months of lockdown, I was determined not to return to a traditional 9-to-5 job. One night, I hosted a gathering for friends and prepared seafood boil bags for everyone. The response was overwhelming—everyone raved about the flavors, and in that moment, a light bulb went off. Just a week later, I was selling plates and delivering orders all over Atlanta.

As I continued cooking, I found myself tapping into my family roots. My mother’s side of the family is from New Orleans, Louisiana—a city known for its rich culinary traditions. I spent much of my childhood visiting New Orleans, where I was surrounded by incredible cooks—my grandmother, mother, grandfather, aunts, uncles, and cousins—all passing down recipes and techniques. I’ve always loved seafood, and to me, Louisiana seafood has always been the best.

Although half of my family is from New Orleans. I was born in Atlanta at Grady Memorial Hospital.  Entrepreneurship runs deep in my blood. My parents were both entrepreneurs, and I never saw them work for anyone else. That spirit was ingrained in me from an early age. Looking back, I believe this business chose me—I didn’t choose it. If someone had told me before COVID that I’d be running a food business, I wouldn’t have believed it. But as I always say, “New Orleans gave me flavor, and ATL gave me sauce!”

For the first three years, I operated ATL Seafood from a shared kitchen space—selling plates, doing pop-ups, catering events, and setting up at festivals across Georgia. I worked out of a tent, serving thousands of people and seeing firsthand how special my products were. Customers would travel from out of state just to catch one of my pop-ups. I’ve had people tell me my food tastes like nothing they’ve ever had before, with one customer even saying, “She has her own flavor.” Some would stand in line multiple times in the same day just to get more.

I truly believe God chose me to bring this vision to life. I started this business at a time when many restaurants were shutting down, yet I was able to sustain and grow without any side job—only by God’s grace. ATL Seafood is a faith-driven business, and through prayer, fasting, and seeking divine wisdom, I’ve witnessed incredible growth.

Now, as I enter my fourth year in business, ATL Seafood has evolved from selling individual plates to becoming a manufacturing and distribution company. What started in my home kitchen has now expanded to wholesale distribution, allowing me to share my products with other businesses, helping them elevate their menus and scale their sales. I’m honored to be part of each client’s journey, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.

Welcome to ATL Seafood—where every dish is made with passion, tradition, and a whole lot of love.
